April 26, 6:30pm at First Evangelical Lutheran Church on Whitehall Road in North Muskegon, the SRCM will hold its first Commemoration Dinner which will be a fund raising affair. The food will be prepared by the West Michigan Lakeshore Student Chef Association and will cater to kosher, vegetarian and general tastes. Agencies, communities of faith, service groups, insitutions and businesses will be sent a letter of invitation to support the event by sponsoring a table.
- A table for 8 is $150.00
- for 10 it will be $180.00.
- Individual tickets are priced at $20.00.
The funds will help support the work of the SRCM ( The Journey for 8th Graders, programs with the Muskegon Area Intermediate School District, adult education events, the Commemoration Service, future planning for the development of an institute for Holocaust,Genocide and Racism).
Our guests will be Mirian Brysk, a survivor, who is also an artist and will be bringing some of her work to Muskegon for the Commemoration Service and also for dinner presentation. Area musicians will also be with us.
